Cask at the Squirrel, Rugby, 17/04/13. Clear pale golden with a well presented off white cap that retains well. Impressive full glass lacing ensues. Nose is full on Burton snatch - sulphurs and eggs, some background malt and grain coming through the stinkbomb! Taste comprises pale malt, light citrus, grass, faint hops, light sugars. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitter in the finish. Ok drinkable stuff and this was a very well kept fresh pint definately making the difference from a 2.7/8 to a 3+. Nose was a bit off putting mind!
