It's beginning to look a lot like that time of the year, atleast we hope it is. The funny thing about making beer is the fact that it takes a while, so we're doing this at the end of summer. The beer is a dark lager, made with roasted malts for a rich, deep flavour. We've made it to go well with food for the season you're in now or to drink in the company of friends.

Two 330ml bottles from Vinmonopolet Finnsnes. Shared by Finn at a summer session with him, Synny and Lunde. Deep, dark brownish body, covering beige head, hanging lacing. Inviting brown malty aromas, roasted. Decent taste profile with caramel malts, dried fruits, and a distant note of liquorice. Mid-sweet malt forward finish, carefully roasted. Just alright. Bottle (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted, roasted, malty, and some slight herbal tones with chocolate too. Flavour is nicely chocolaty with some roasted and toasted tones along with some sweet malts and nutty tones to it. Good.
