From tap at Hopaholic, Budapest. Aroma is pretty in-your-face beetroot with juicy tropical fruits, citrus, some grassy notes and soft grapefruit. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Fun brew, NEIPA-ish with lots of beetroot, it works for me!

hazy reddish-purple-ish brown colour, one inch creamy pinkish-peachy head; aroma of floral, piney and grapefruity-tropical fruity notes, as well as beetroot; very well balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and horse-radish-like beetroot spiciness in the aftertaste; great beer!

14-SEP-2017. BOTTLE 33 CL. Murky grayish-purple, small pink head. Pretty strong juicy fruit aroma, like ripe Orchard fruit, it the beetroot definitely adds something to it, even though the effect is subtle. Plenty of hops, covered by some kind of beetroot jelly, followed by soft zesty bitterness. Surely off-beat, pardon the pun, but a successful experiment it is. 7-4-7-4-15=3,7
25-AUG-2017. PET growler. Cloudy dark ruby, pinkish head. Smells like fruit juice, canned peaches, some harsher resins. There’s some sticky sweetness behind the resins, with an unusual aroma profile - must be the beetroot. Chewey fruit nectar body, subtle peach, lots of pungent zest blended with a little harshness - must the the effect of alcohol. Overall, a legit hazy IPA. The beetroot does not stand out on its own as a vegetable, but certainly adds to the unique fruity flavour profile. 7-4-7-4-15=3,7
