(bottle, as Erlenstegener Kupfer) Clear, amber colour with a small and off-white foamy head. Slightly nutty malty aroma with notes of caramel, backed by herbal and subtle citric hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slighhtly bready and nutty cara-malty base with a tinge of herbal and subtle fruity hops, getting stronger towards the sweet-bitter finish. Solid Franconian quality Lager. 24.VII.16

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Pours a clear amber color. Nice hints of malt, caramel. Not too sweet, fresh, easy to drink, round and nice.

Clear medium red amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, caramel, pale malt, malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, caramel, burnt - caramelized malt, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140509]

On tap at Bier Amt, Nuremberg May 2014. Deep copper in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Sweetish lage, with a hint of berry fruit, sweetish malts and a gentle finish. Fine.
