In Collaboration with our friends at Painted Rock, we co-fermented their freshly pressed Petit Verdot grapes with our Saison. This match made in heaven created luscious floral and dark fruit notes, subtle tannins and finished with a little Saison spice.

355mL can, pours a cloudy amber with a small beige head. Nose is full of red grapes, some grape juice, and a touch of funk. Flavour is fairly dry, with earthy, musty grape skins, light funk, and some earthiness. Dry, musty finish. Good stuff but not as good as the prior variant.

Poured from 355mL can (2024 petit verdot rosé saison). Pinkish orange with pinkish white head. Estery saison yeast with feint grape skin touch, slightly floral nose. Fairly dry, slightly peppery finish. Okay. Seems like a decent concept that, if in a better brewer’s hands, could be very good.
