Draft. Mahogany beer with a tan head. Citrus aroma. Grapefruit and caramel flavor with light pine. Medium-plus bodied. Grapefruit and caramel linger with light toffee.

12 ounce can from Wagner Market, 3/18/25. Dark brown, large tan head, average retention. Aroma of toffee, cherry, raisin. Taste is toffee, caramel, cherry, piney hop. Lingering bitterness, strong flavor. Mild booze.

On tap at Central Waters - Milwaukee, pours a clear dark reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry caramel, bready malt, and a touch of resinous hops. Flavour is surprisingly gentle for a 12% barleywine, with bready caramel and bitter resinous hops. Malty and hoppy in good balance. ItοΏ½s alright.
