Boxed pint can from Ridgeview Liquors, 3/13/25. Black, mediumm brown head, average retention. Aroma of lemon, chocolate, roast, appropriately enough. Taste is tart lemon, chocolate, soy, graham cracker, roast. A bit thin. Gotta lower the score. A weird mintiness emerges that I find off-putting. 2nd Edit: This is really harsh and hard to drink. Score went from 7 to 6.6 to whatever it is now
Dark black body medium foamy brown head. Lemon fruity roast chocolate aroma. Sharp lemon roast chocolate flavor. Medium full body moderate carbonation. 7/5/7/4/15 3.8

On tap at Surly, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma has tons of lemon peel, a touch of cacao, and roast in the back. Flavour is very lemony and somewhat tart, with intense lemon peel, tartness, some cocoa, and a little oak. Lots of lemon and citric acid. Better as it warms but its a bit rough. Decent.
