Draft at the BeerTemple, Amsterdam, with Matthijs, 30th October 2025. Pours black with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is of cocoa, roasted malts, taste is hoppy, cocoa and citrus - good BIPA

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a mahogany colored body that has thin brown to red hues and supports a tan head of foam as well as sheet lacing. The modest aroma offers up roasted malts to nutty malts amidst burnt malts and grapefruit to spicy hop bitterness. The taste delivers roasted malts as well as dark roasted to burnt malts blended with a bit of hazelnut maltiness. Behind that are pleasing levels of bitter grapefruit and spicy and woody hop bitterness. Solid

On tap at More - Villa Park, pours black with an amber tinge and a small beige head. Aroma is pretty laid back, with very gentle roast and subtle earthy hops. Flavour is strangeI think theres diacetyl in here, which I dont usually pick up in a black IPAgentle roast and subtle hops cant save this. Ugh.

Sampled from the tap at the Bartlett location. Pours a clear brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of grains and bread with some earthy pine supporting. Flavor has bread and earthy pine with some sweet dark grains underlying.
