Our first sparkling hop-focussed beer, Harvest Glitter is the result of two-year aged spontaneous beer rested in Chardonnay barrels for ten days upon fresh/wet Colorado-grown Chinook whole cones from High Wire Hops in Peonia. Candied pineapple on the nose is followed by notes of spruce tip, apricot jam, and white grape skins. The super restrained acidity and crisp, highly effervescent finish makes this beer an approachable all-day drinker.

On tap at Theodore, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Nose has gentle champagne, woody dry-hopping, and wild bugs. Flavour is tart, buggy and hoppy, blending nice champagne notes, with light tartness, wild yeast, and earthy, floral dry-hopping. Not remotely convincing as a gueuze, but as a hoppy mixed ferm ale, this is very nice.
