5 Golden Rings is the only golden ale in our 12 Days of Christmas series. We spiced up the natural pause in the classic song with cinnamon, allspice, and ginger that play harmoniously with notes of burnt wood and sweet and under-ripe fruit from the time spent in bourbon barrels.

2013 BA 5 Golden Rings split 2 ways at 60 degrees F in stemware.
A - Very golden orange, 1 finger head that fades fast.
S - I get a tropical, mango, cherry aroma paired with vanilla and blueberries.
T - Interesting beer.Lots of tropical notes, insanely boozy, lots of grape, pineapple juice is very prevalent, nutty walnut and chestnut with a boozy malt bomb of caramel, bright figs. Lots of action.
M - Thick, boozy but pretty velvety at the finish.
O - I really enjoyed this a lot. The BA version was great, maybe a touch sweeter than I had hoped.
