We brewed our 1907 ale to celebrate the centerary of the world famous Isle of Man TT Motorcycle Races. That was 2007. In 2008 everybody wanted to know where our 1907 beer was! So we kept on brewing it. After all, if beer tastes this good, you might as well carry on celebrating...

1907 has aromas of tropical fruit, mainly Mango and Pineapple. It is dark gold in colour with smooth malt and fruit on the palate, with a hint of sweetness leading to a dry hoppy after palate.

Bottle from AlesByMail.co.uk. Dark golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma is very grainy, with grass, hay, bread, citrus, flowers, candy and honey. Taste is pretty much the same, but with a more satisfying full body. Medium mouthfeel, oily, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes bitter and grainy again, with some citrus. Good English style IPA. Very well balanced and smooth to drink. The grainy notes feel very natural.

330ml bottle from Bier Huis in Ossett - Hazy golden coloured body - looks like a jar of Gales Clear Honey - with a thin white film. Nose has the caramel characteristics of an ESB, with some floral hoppiness at the back. Decent oily palate on this one leads to a bitter-sweet taste, malty yet citric with a lasting bitter finish. I was a bit doubtful at first, but I’ve taken a shine to this one.

The nose is also grandma’s soap. Interesting. The beer starts malty, intense-hoppy. Very malty - and much more malty than their IPA. The mainpart is floral hoppy with a nice malty body. Intense hoppy, very nice and intense. The aftertaste is malty and very nice floral. Hints of sweetness, not too much bitterness. Nice and smooth.
Very nice malty IPA! 12/12/13/12

Light haze on this deep gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Light semi sweet malt, well integrated smooth lactose. Good balance of orange peel hops with noble hop spice. Light dry finish, crisp. Well integrated and perhaps somewhat old fashioned tasting but very nice.

Appearance: Clear deep golden color with a white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, mild hoppy and strong malty.
Palate: Medium + body. Slightly sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Dominating caramel malty, fruity and mild hoppy.
Overall impression: Powerful ale, but lacks a lot to be called an IPA. Solid British special bitter.
Personal stats: Bottle at The Bridge in Douglas, Isle of Man.
