Clear dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted - chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141219]

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity and toasted malty. Sweet, fruity and toasted malty. Light milky sourness. Toasted malty and fruity hoppy finish.

Bottle. A clear, dark brown beer topped by a small, beige head. The aroma is roasted and nutty, with a cellar hint. Some orangey fruityness. Soft carbonation, quite dry, and medium bodied. Lightly fruity, citrusy flavor with nuts and roasted malts. Some bitterness in the far back. Lasting finish with caramel, roasted malts and nuts. Quite tasteful and drinkable, but not my favorite kind of brown ale. 141219

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, coffee and sour fruit. Flavor is quite sweet, moderate bitter and light acidic. Dry, moderate bitter and light acidic finish. 191214

Bottle from trade Tomer, many thanks. Very dark brown color with huge light beige head. Strong roasted malt with citrus hops, coffee, dark chocolate. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, licorice, hints of citrus hops. Coffee bitter finish with nice citrus hoppy touch. Good.

Bottle from Beer Market, Tel Aviv, July 2013. Dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, toffee, some coffee and dark chocolate. The finish was slightly tart. A descent one.

Bottle at home in London - many thanks to Tomer for the trade! Pours clear, standard brown with a fairly large, sturdy tan froth for a head. Dry burnt brown bread toast in the nose, some tangy dirt, suggestions of coffee grounds. Light to medium sweet flavor, some lightly tangy berries, darkened malts, some dirt, low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. A bit of perhaps out-of-place tanginess to finish, toasty bread, dirt, touches of dry burnt wood. A pretty average beer that might not be in top shape.

[Thanks to tomer]. Bottled. dark brown colour with an off-white head with good lacing and decent duration. Aromahas roasted malts notes with slightly hops hints. Flavor is roasted, ashes, licorice, coffee and citrus hops. Light watery on palate with a slight bitterness, dry final.
