Gyllent øl med en smak av havet som følge av tilsatte alger under bryggeprosessen. Passer til lette matretter, fisk, skalldyr, eller som en forfriskende nytedrikk.

500 ml bottle, batch 0815L82, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Brewed with large amounts of the Norwegian edible sea algae "søl". Cloudy golden brown colour, moderate white head. Very strong and "thick" aroma of seaweed / algae and stale sea water ponds, hints of rubber. The flavour is better than the aroma, fairly refreshing and dry, notes of fresh sea water, algae and citrus. Some hops in the finish.

Bottle at Hr. Redaktør. Deep golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour is fruit, malt, herbs, hop and something i presume is " søl ". Medium body. Weird but interesting in a way.

Bottle, at Hr Redaktør. A hazy golden-orange beer with a dense finger thick off-white head. Pale malts, oranges, a generic fruityness and something strange and not too pleasant I guess is due to the algae used. There’s the same strange element in the flavor, but it’s not so unpleasant there. The flavor is mostly fruity and malty, with a decent bitterness. A bit yeasty too. Medium body, soft carbonation, semi-dry. Fruity finish. Not my kind of beer, too weird actually. Interesting though. 140627
