Now there’s good news - we can help you! Our new Brewmaster’s Reserve beer is Hammarby Syndrome, a robust ale that will transport you directly to the seaside of old Stockholm. It’s brewed from a large proportion of spelt, an ancient wheat-like grain that was once a mainstay of Scandinavian beers. To the spelt’s distinctively nutty flavor, we’ve added another old Swedish beer ingredient - spruce fronds. They add a tasty citrusy pine note to a full-bodied, lightly fruity strong ale that’ll keep you warm until the spring sunshine comes to the rescue. More importantly, it’s great with hearty cold-weather food, and it’ll make you feel like you’re in Hammarby until you can come visit us there yourself.

Draught at Camden Town brewery. Clear amber color, average to medium sized beige head that leaves decent lacing. Smell and taste malts, caramel, some sweetness, toffee. Average body and carbonation. Hmm well, a bit straightforward I guess. Not bad, but not really my thing.

On tap @ Haandfest 2014. A near clear looking one with a nice warm amber red body. Light caramel on the nose. Hints of something fruity, but it's a bit one dimensionalized on the caramel path. Tastes really nice actually. It has a almost chili like spiciness to it. Again lots of nice sweet caramel but it's also well balanced in the taste. Slightly sticky in the mouth and it's sharp on the bubbles. Grows a bit in the mouth. Lots of glazed caramelized red berries also here. It's a good one, even if I extected something completely different based on the ciderish-name.. 24.05.2014

Keg at Camden Town, RBESG day 3, 09/08/14. Dark amber with a well appointed light tan covering. Nose is malt forward, candied fruit peel, toffee, mineral notes. Taste comprises toffee apple, candied sugars, sweet licks, caramel malt. Medium + body, fine carbonation, hop bitterness and sweet toffee vibes in the close. Decent enough offering.

RBESG pt 17. Camden. Keg. Clear deep amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Airy caramel malts. Light sweet floralness. Finishes airy and semi dry. A curious offering, hides the abv very well but it’s one dimensional.

Draft - Sweet grains and syrup with almost a fruity nose. Clear cold with a beige head. Spices, orange and syrupy. Very desert like with the sweetness and spices.
