見渡す限りに広がるホップ畑を駆けまわり、君に決めた。Derrek＆GrantがNZ🇳🇿まで行ったのは半年以上も前のこと……。今回遂に我らWCBが大好きな『Freestyle Hops』の採れたて“2023年産”ホップを使用したビールを初リリース。

ホップの力を存分に感じるため、Pilsnerへ投入するボイル&ドライホップはALL Freestyle Hopsブランド！特にドライホップで使った“Nelson Sauvin”は、今年の春にWCBブルワーズによって、いくつものサンプルから選び抜かれ
お迎えしたコをようやくお披露目……というワケなのです。

澄んだ淡い麦わら色の液体は、オレンジやグレープフルーツにレモンなどの柑橘感にトロピカルな果実の印象、フローラルでウッディなアロマ。ややドライな飲み口からは、軽い甘さと程よい苦みが◎。

空に向かって蒼々と高く伸びる畑を思い出す。大地の恵みよ、ありがとう。2023年産ホップを使って、美味しいビールをたくさん造るからね。

Quite possibly the least creative name in our arsenal. But we wanted to make it CLEAR. Like what beer could this possibly be? Maybe it has hops from New Zealand? Maybe it’s lower ABV? SHot in the dark but it might be lighter to medium body to make the hops POP? Lager yeast? We don’t just name our beers with random acronyms and styles. Well, not random anyway. Dry Hopped lovingly and incredibly lightly by the POWER OF NELSON, we’re talking notes of melon, lemon, honeydew, strawberry, blueberry, floral when it warms up… small beer packing it in for a fascinating sensory ride, and not to mention the first of many for our 2023 Freestyle goodies. Who knows what’s actually in the can/keg tho? Might be a NZ Pils?
