Can Clear light yellow with loose, white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is light flowery hops and a bit of grass. The flavor is very lightly acidic, a bit lemony. It has the mouthfeel of a ginger ale. Carbonic acid, spritzy. Light & refreshing, suitable for lawn mowing.

Bottle. It pours a straw colored body under a small, white head. The aroma is lightly grassy and hayish, with some yellow apples fruityness and some piney, peppery hop notes. It’s medium bodied, quite dry and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness lasting for a good while. Pine cones, grass, some peppery hints and a backdrop of pale malts in the flavor. Some fruityness, but towards the finish it’s more like pine cones. A tasteful and quenching lager that would do good on any summer day. 160805

Can. A- Grains, cornbread. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Cornbread, sweet grains, honey. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Far from a favorite style of mine but a solid beer. I actually liked it more as it warmed. It became sweeter and the corn came through more and not in a nasty way. It was almost like a cornbread drizzled with honey. Pretty decent.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Blond color, small head. It’s a very clean Lager, with delicate malt touch, no hops, very low bitterness.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite dry, with notes of dry biscuity malt and straw. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of corn, straw and very dry biscuity malt. Pretty generic but clean and drinkable. Decent.

Can pours a clear yellow with a full fine and lasing bright white head. Classic light pale pilsner malts, a little noble hops for bite but very smooth nd slightly sweet. Tasty.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 10/26/2015. Pours slightly hazy pale golden straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aomr aof light lemon, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of light lemon, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, bread, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from carbonation and bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and lightly grainy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice Helles lager style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
