12 fl oz can. Pale yellow gold colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of grains & grassy notes. Taste is grainy, hay, citric, yeasty, with grassy bitterness. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry grassy slightly metallic bitter finish. Quite OK.

12oz can. Filtered pale yellow-tan body. Thin soda-like head after the initial bubbly pour. A pretty solid lager for sure, clean and classic tasting, nice balance between the straightforward golden malt and the noble hops. Pretty straightforward, good for what it is.

Pint at Folsom street foundry. Very pale yellow coloured pour with a fleeting white froth. Aroma is simple grainy, lager notes, slight staling. Flavour is composed of light grains, straw, light apple, metalic, chalky. Palate is thin, highish carbonation. Take it or leave it/

Wonder why I never rated this. From a can. Smell was just a tiny bit off in the phenolic kind of way. Very nice look about this lager, clear and clean with just a tad yellow. First impression is hay, then good pale lager with a mild finish of dort. Goes down easy, much more refreshing than most dort or hells. Could easily drink another can of this stuff. Nice job!

Draught @ Ballast Point Little Italy, San Diego, CA

Pours clear golden with a small head. Aroma of grass, butter and cardboard. Taste is crisp, grassy and sweetish with hints of butter. Finish is sweet, malty and grainy with hints of grass. Quite bulky for a craft lager.

Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving scant trailing sheets. Sour malt and caramel aromas. Sweet with medium bodied with sourdough and hay upfront and a mild earthy finish.

12fl.oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small, short lived white head that laces. Aroma of malt, corn, grass, straw and light citrus. Sweet flavour of corn, malt, grass and light citrus with a mildly dry, bitter hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Very drinkable.
