The Fruity Watergeus is a sparkling fruit beer of one year old lambic, which is ripened for another year with cherry and blackberries. With to this maceration, combined with a slow second fermentation, beautiful and soft fruit flavors are released. After a third fermentation and bottling, the unique flavor of Fruity Watergeus might remind of the taste of wine.

Bottle - Petrol up front that fades, balsamic and then nice berries. Clear deep ruby red with a decent white head. Cherry pits, dark berry, some oak and a nice finish. Not much tartness or acidly, just well balanced. A bit of pepper as well.

Bottle @ home. Purple colour, thin layer of light pink foam. Tart nose of red fruit, cassis, berries along with funk, barnyard, some cellar notes. Taste is tart, fruity, lemony, funky. Very well made. Could be a geuze from the Pajottenland.
