Forsiktig syrlig bitter avslutning.

50cl bottle from Tesco’s, Camberley. Amber with a loose white head; spicy hop aroma; sweet citrusy taste; and a dry finish with some lingering sulphur and SN yeast. An unexciting but refreshing Pale Ale.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, white head leaving some curtains. The aroma has a light bready touch, pine cones, grass and a faint cheesy hoppyness. It’s pretty dry on the palate, with a tad too much carbonation. Medium body. Some sweet malty notes in the flavor though. Toffee, bread, grass, hay and bitterness, leading to a bitter, light toffee-ish finish. Certainly nothing impressive going on here, but it’s a decent beer, flawless but boring. 140522

0.5l clear bottle. This is a crystal clear really caramel golden looking with a medium sized kinda bright white head. It smells of caramel as well. Quite a lot to be honest! Buttery caramel with hints of vanilla and dry grass. I normally don't particularly enjoyed these kind of aromas, but this is actually not all that bad. It has a non surprising kinda thin and a little watery mouthfeel wrapped in a just below average carbonation level. It tastes as classic bitter as it can really. Lots of dry caramel, it's not to sweet, tones of toasted nuts, lots of bittering hops without being to much. Easy to drink, yeah a little boring in the long run perhaps but as a easy to grab beer that works just fine. 13.03.2014

Bottle. Golden beer with a light but soon disappearing head. The aroma is lightly toffee, and the flavour is gently bitter with toffee'ness. Overall average English beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear copper. White head. Aroma of golden ale. Fruity and sweet. More bitterness in taste. Hints of green apples and English hops. Decently balanced, but rather bland.
