Bottle that Dad shared with me- cheers! Amber-gold with a small white head and far too aggressive carbonation. Leafy hops up front followed by lemon and a spicy finish. Grew on me after a slightly shaky start and was rather enjoyable by the end.

Clear 500ml bottle: BBD Sep 2014, poured into two half-pint glasses at home on 15 Feb 2014. Clean looking golden amber body with lightweight head of white bubbles on top. The nose was floral with a caramel background, the taste was also sweet malts with a floral feel. Medium bodied with just about enough flavour to keep you interested: leaning towards โ€™a bit boringโ€™ towards the end of the drink.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is creamy malt with a little grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a dry weak woody palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Golden and quite fizzy. Hoppy aroma and has some citrus too. Flavour has nice toasty, biscuity malts and a touch of aromatic hop.

GBBF Day 3. Almost clear gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate, light and fresh. Usual Sheps twangy dry malt and insipid hops. There is nothing wrong or offensive about this, just very bland.
