On tap @ Amundsen. This is a deep dark brown - almost black one with a nice medium sized heavy lacing brown head. The aroma is filled with milk chocolate and cold coffee. Roasted malts as well, but the chocolate dominates. More hoppy in the taste. I get vanilla, chocolate paper, sweet dark caramel and something reminding me of leather jacket. Lots of flavor in this, and I'm found of flavors. Ends with a roasted finish and traces of cold coffee in the aftertaste. Solid stuff! 01.03.2013

On tap @ Amundsen. Pours black, with a big beige head. Very nice hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, peach and orange peel, as well as burned wood and some coffee. Medium body with creamy texture. Flavour is sweet with burned malts, caramel and coffee, as well as notes of chocolate, liquorice and some hoppy bitterness of orange peel. Finishes off with a grapefruity bitterness. Nice brew.

250ml draught, 6.6% abv, at the brewpub. Tan-coloured head over a jet black body with a brownish shade. Smell of dark fruits with smoked malts build into it. Dark fruity taste with red oranges, bitter liquorice and a touch of bacon. Bittersweet backdrop. Very smooth and soft. Well bodied. Enjoying (Oslo, 14.09.2012).

On tap at grünerløkka festival. A more or less black one, at least it’s really dark brown. A dense, light beige head sits on top. The aroma is lightly roasted, with a lovely resiny and piney hoppiness. The same goes for the flavour, it’s a pleasant blend of roasted malts and piney, resiny hops. Full body, soft carbonation. Quite dry on the palate, in the finish too. Roasted, hoppy and bitter finish. A really pleasant black Ipa. 120825
