The Romans were famous in their disdain for beer noting that beer was a drink for barbarians. The Roman Emperor Julian even composed a poem about the amazing qualities of wine while also stating that beer smelled like goat!

To celebrate the Roman dislike towards beer we blended a sour ale that was aged in fine Gaulish (French) wine barrels & on Chambourcin (Also French) grape skins that is sure to have been better than the traditional Pasca that the legionnaires drank (A field drink made from sour wine, water & a touch of vinegar).

Tria, Philadelphia tap: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is bretty, woody, fruity, complex, and funky. Taste is bretty. Lightly bitter. Light and pleasant sweetness. Lingering dirty aftertaste. Very nice and complextro.
