Beach Haus® Herb's Rye – A tribute beer and an American wheat that announces itself with a smart, zesty, bouquet; grainy, semi-sweet, and just a bit spicy from the addition of lightly kilned rye malt. Herb's Rye is a tribute to Herb Freedman, the man and the rye bread he made with such passion.

At the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is bubblegum. Taste is crappy bubbleguma and a alight hint of hops. Pretty sweet. Not that good.

On tap. Hefeweizen. Maybe with 5% rye? Murky orange. Banana. Server compared it to blue moon when I went back up to ask if kegs got mixed up. If beach haus lets me know style here is wrong Inwill adjust. Good beer and higher than 3.0 but, but out of style box listed here and at the source to me.

Not usually a fan of rye ale. This is not the exception.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy orange gold color. Small creamy beige head. Yeasty wheat malt nose. Flavor is mix of wheat and rye grain with doughy, yeasty notes. Some banana and clove notes. Decent wheat beer with some earthy rye character as well.
