Stone’s Throw is dark, complex, and smooth. It is very approachable for those new to craft beer, satisfy serious veterans. The aroma hints of toasted breadcrumbs, caramel, and dried fruits. The flavor is dominated by caramel toffee, toasty malt, hints of cocoa, honey sweetness.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can from BVery, poured into an English pint glass. Aroma is caramel malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is nice malty caramel, dark malt, some honey, and hint of chocolate. Solid beer.

[ As Fargo Stones Throw Scottish Ale ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, earthy, toasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, earthy, marmelade, honey sweet, nutty - earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141219]

Can: Poured a copper color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of light caramelized malt with some grainy cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by caramelized notes with some grainy cereal notes. Body is light with good carbonation. This one is short on complexity and balanced.

A clear, dark amber colored beer with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is quite toffee-ish, with some buttery notes and a decent fruityness. Soft and pleasantly carbonated, medium bodied and quite dry on the palate. Caramel, fruityness and a buttery touch in the flavor. Peaty notes and not much bitterness. Long finish. Nothing special going on here, but a quite decent one anyway. 141219

Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, toffee, earthy and some sour fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Can from GreatDane1632, many thanks. Dark brown color with medium light beige head. caramel malt, coffee in aroma. Taste, sweet caramel malt, complemented with nice light coffee, bready notes, plums, hints of apples, light light smoke in finish. Easy drinkable beer. US state #36.
