This series starts with one single malt variety, in this case our house Pilsen malt. Our extended boil concentrates the soft and subtle character of the Pilsen malt, increasing the complexity. Once fermented, our barleywine is then aged in barrels specifically selected to complement the choosen single malt. In our first release we selected 8 year old Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. The final result is a delicious, viscous, yet smooth and intense beer. With notes of dark candied fruit, toffee, bourbon, vanilla, caramel.

Can from the Packie. Dark tawny brown with a good sized off white head that persists. Rich caramel and toffee with hints of earth vanilla and dark dried fruits. Nice sipper but a little on the cloying side.
