Can from the packie. Mostly clear deep gold in color with a frothy off white head that persists. Citrus earthy pine and light tropical notes against a solid bready light caramel maltiness. Old school at its finest.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from mixed pack from Market Basket, Epping. Appearance is hazy orange with trace sparkle, finger-width foamy off-white head with decent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is fairly strong sweet caramel malts and fruit. Taste is as aroma with mild complementary overarching citrus. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, there are many specific things I can find fault with: could have more sparkle/carbonation, not very complex, leans too much to the malty than hoppy side (though that might be because packaged 12/18/18) but, strangely, I don't seem to care. It's certainly not the greatest beer in the world, and far from a classic double IPA, but what's here works harmoniously together. I think my favorite from the multipack.

Pours deep gold with very slow carbonation into a tulip. White head recedes leaving sheet lacing. Bubblegum aromas. Hot bubblegum and dark earth upfront turning to hot caramel in the lasting finish. Eww...

Pours light amber with a very thick white head, heavy carbonation. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Taste is incredibly hoppy and almost sweet, simcoe hops are very noticeable. Palate is woody and earthy, interesting beer.
