Sampled at EBF on Saturday afternoon. Solid black color with a tan head. Smells roasty with coffee caramel and chocolate. Hints of pepper in the aroma signal something is different. The taste starts off like any stout would bitter roast caramel and chocolate with bits of coffee. Midway through you sense a little heat then the body dries out a little then you get a moderate shot of capsaicin that lingers long after every sip. Thick body, light carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. This was the only beer I had more than once, I enjoyed the hell out of this brew. Big thick roasty chocolaty stout with just enough heat on the back end.
