Oro Negro is a dynamic beer brimming with layers of complexity and character; our cherished Oil of Aphrodite infused with cacao nibs, vanilla beans, oak staves, habaneros, and cinnamon sticks. A staple at our bottle releases. This refined stout is filled with rich character and a touch of heat.

Thanks Clark. Pitch black A little tan head. nose is spicy with cinnamon and just a little bit of vanilla. Dense, thick, chewy taste, a good spiciness that lingers like long in the finish. the lingering vanilla. A good roast element but just too many adjuncts.

Sample at the brewpub during the 9th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/05/14. Pours an opaque brown-black color with a thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to a sparse film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and subtle peppers. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, dark chocolate, oaky vanilla and mild peppers. The finish is roasty chocolate malt up front with a slow habanero burn on the back end. A "pepper beer" executed about as well as I could hope, very good all around.
