Bottle from gregwilsonstl, thanks for the opportunity! Slightly hazy copper color with a decent sized off white head. Caramel and big fruity notes offset with a spicy earthy yeasty taste. Nice Weizenbock.

50cl bottle, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a near infra-red amber sort of colored body that supports a nice dark tan head of foam. The aroma offers up cherry nuanced banana, dates, a brown sugar note and then a bit of molasses. The taste is soft and sweet and fruity. I get raisins, cherries, dates, a dash of cinnamon and a blend of brown sugar, faint chocolate and molasses. Just below those notes lurk a few slices of sliced banana. This is pretty darn nice.

Pour is a murky brown with a large tan head. Aroma is wheat, sugar, dark fruit and cloves. Flavor is a rich caramel malt with a bit of roasted nuts and some brown sugar. Finish leaves some fig on the tongue. This was a well done beer. Maybe missing some of the banana/clove thing but this was a very chewy malty beer with the flavors lingering after the swallow.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark wheat, sweet fruits and some coriander. Flavor is similar with sweet dark wheat and coriander.
