Sample at EBF Saturday Thick inky black with a minimal head. Roasty earthy chocolate nose. Sweet chocolate maltiness with a strange herbal note that I assume is from the sorghum. Different, buit it kind of works.

Sample at the brewpub during Jackie O’s 11th Anniversary Extravaganza on 01/06/2017. Dark brown color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, maple and coffee. Full-bodied with a sweet caramel malt and molasses character, with mild roasty coffee in the background. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
