This ale is brewed at Klackabacken in Önnestad from water, pilsner and carapils malt and then boiled with cascade hops and spruce shoots before it's fermented with Saison yeast. Because the Ale is unfiltered it might be a bit turbid but it will get clear if kept upright in the fridge for a couple of days. Keep dark and cool.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden pale orange color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity spicy hoppy spruce aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy spruce flavor with yeasty hints. Has a fruity spicy hoppy spruce finish with weak yeasty hints.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Lundabryggeriet Scandinavian Spruce Ale ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, flowers, spruce, citrus, moderate yeasty, soapy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet fruit, spruce, sweet spruce, minerals, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively.
