Bottle from The Lazy Dog Pours a cloudy murky light golden color with a decent sized off white head that slowly recedes. Aromas of Citrus pineapple mango are quite nice. Faint mint and pine resin with just a touch of sweet bread. The flavor is sweet bready creamy maltiness. Bitter pithy flavor with some juicy fruit in there as well. Lingering sharp astringent bitter in the finish. The initial aroma from this was fantastic, but the flavor didn’t hold up to the promise. Muddled oddly mashed up flavors. Decent beer, but needs some recipe tweaks

Taster at the source. Appearance is light yellow/greenish (almost like lemonade), insignificant head but some lacing. Aroma is strong pine, also citrus. Taste is mild pine. Palate is medium bodied with average texture, soft carbonation with late burst, and citrusy/bitter finish. Overall, more traditional than some others of FTB; decent but taste doesn’t quite deliver on aroma.
