Horicon National Wildlife Refuge is a vital nesting area for waterfowl, including our own Great Blue Heron. Generously hopped through the boil then dry hopped at the tail end of fermentation for a large bouquet. Our Horicon Session IPA is an explosively hoppy gesture of gratitude.

An orange amber IPA with a thick frothy light mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with citrus pulp, floral resinous hops, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt, crisp and dry, with floral and citrusy hops, refreshing. On tap at Bacon and beer Classic.

Slightly cloudy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, thinnish one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of ridiculously strong grassy and citrusey hops with a light malt note, some faint apricot notes, but this is all about the hops - very strong dry hopping here for sure. Light-bodied; Very strong and earthy herbal hop kick with some perfumey notes, a hint of resin and a very nice and light finish that still lends everything to the tons of hops in the mix. Aftertaste is super bitter, but showing a ton of character - with drying notes, herbal flavours and that perfumey bite that goes a long way, all with no alcohol and no malt notes to speak of. Overall, a very nice beer for the style - a ton of hops in here that show well and a very light-drinking beer - perfect for summer when you still want to be drinking some hops! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Good Beer in New York, New York on 25-April-2014 for US$2,39 sampled at home in Washington a few days before returning to New York on 14-July-2014, but Iβm glad I didnβt have to go up to Wisconsin to get this one...but Iβd easily do it, knowing how good this beer was!

Bottle at home in Salisbury - picked up at De Cicco, Brewster. Pours clear, bright golden-orange with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds bready pale malts, tangerine, pine needles, sun-kissed grains. Light sweet flavor with dry, pale malts, crispy hay, slight grass, grain husks, tangerine rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced to finish with more rindy bitterness, understated sweetness, some grass, pleasing citrus. Solid sessioner for sure.

Tap at The Jeffrey. Pours orange with nice head. Nose is pine and grapefruits. Tastes of lots of pine, grapefruit, spicy hops, light caramel. Plenty bitter palate. Quite the little zinger.

Pours a clear, pale yellow-gold with almost no head to speak of. Kind of a catbox aroma to it--itβs actually much more palatable than that might sound. Very strong, pronounced hop flavor. Bitter hops with a sticky mouthfeel. Sharp, bitter finish to it as well. Quite good!

Opaque yellow with a lacing head. Malt base with mildly bitter hops. Full flavor, and a good American pale ale. Some dry, bread finish.

12 oz bottle purchased at TC Craft Beer, Wine, and Spirits in New Hope, Minnesota. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is grass dry floral hop bit of iced tea and cracker malt. The taste is very much the dry floral hop, moving towards dry cracker and grass malt. The palate is light bodied, with soft carbonation and a very dry finish. Gets a touch watery as it warmed. Easy drinking, nice session IPA.

Pours a clear gold with a soapy lace - nose is dry, crisp, crackery, with a citric hop bite - nice and frothy in the mouth - snappy, dry malt base - followed by citric, earthy, woody hops - really nice balance - on par with Founders All Day - very nice.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold color with a nice white head. Hints of grapefruit and tropical fruits on the nose. Flavor is a piney, grassy hops explosion! A bit of malt acts as backdrop; but no sweetness to cover up those hops. Light body with a dry, lasting, bitter finish. Very sessionable @ 4.5
