Multiple cans from the brewery brought by a friend. Thanks John! Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Lovely dank pine, citrus and berry aromas on the nose. Crisp and clean on the palate with a slightly soft mouthfeel. More tropical fruit, pineapple and berry notes with dank and citrus as it warms. Just a great IPA from a small Midwest brewery.

On tap at Small City Taphouse. Hazy golden orange with a rocky frothy white head that persists. Holy shit where did this beer come from? Tangerine passion fruit citrus and pine with a biscuity bready malt to balance. That’s a pretty damn good beer right there!

Sample at the taproom. Clear orange-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Sticky small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and toasted malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and roast malt. The finish is moderately bitter and crisp with a lingering citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
