Cedar Point Iron Horse Porter

Bottle at Cedar Point Served at "room temperature" which was about 85 degrees today. Someone told the server that thats how a porter is served and thats what she believes. I tried and failed to convince her otherwise. Solid black with a huge bubbly tan head that took forever to pour looks infected or over carbonated, but luckily it was neither. Rich caramel and chocolate notes with some solid earth to counter. Tasty.

Bot. Very nice dark pour, has a choco moose head. Friendly roasty porter smell as well. At first its easy going with all its old damp campfire wood flavors and then it gets a little more forward. Towards the middle of the session it maybe wants to be a impy stout but don’t quite get there. Aroma gets a little metallic near the end. Yes, quite strong armed in the finish but it never really gets in yer face. Tasty.
