Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Grazer's, Williston, Vermont.
Appearance: dark brown color with a bar pour's kind of head which swiftly fell off to leave some light concave lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, authentic coconut, subtle sweet wafer/pastry/doughy character
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas to a nice sweet and roasty tone; no aftertaste
Texture: medium to full bodied; between being sessionable and being a sipper; good smoothness on the tongue; finishes milk chocolatey with the coconut
Overall: I was kinda hoping for a "cookie batter" thing to happen but it came across more like a sweet wafer/pastry/doughy thing. Other than that, this isn't a bad beer, I think I could come back to.

Can (12/19/19) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width crackling light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, tart fruit, mild coconut. Taste is moderate earthy malt, tart fruit, milder cookie batter, mild cocoa and coconut. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, fizzy carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, attractive description and label but it falls short on every level. Strange tart fruit quality in the aroma and flavor and, for a beer that should be quite sweet, it's fairly muted. Thin and fizzy. Better offerings elsewhere. Disappointing.

Can from Bert's Solid black in color, opaque, with a small long lasting off white head. Rich chocolate malty notes light coconut adds complexity without overpowering the base beer. Creamy smooth mouthfeel rich medium to thick body. Pretty damn tasty like desert in a glass.
