Can pour into shaker pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, medium brown with slight mahogany tinge, decent sparkle, finger-width foamy, beige head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is toast, caramel, nuts. Taste is roasted malt, bordering on charr, caramel, plum, light vanilla. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and mix of sweet caramel and bitter roast finish. Overall, nice flavor. Decent brown ale.

Can from the source. Deep dark brown with garnet at the edges and a thin off whit ehead that slowly dissipates. Bready caramel with light chocolate maltiness against a hint of fruit and earthy hops. Clean well made brown ale.
