On tap at Flatbread Burlington. Mostly clear light brown with a decent sized off white head. Rich caramel and hints of toffee with light fruitiness and just enough earthy hops to balance. Might be all the hops I had before this, but this is a damn fine English style brown ale.

On tap at Vermont tap house in Williston, VT.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt brown color with a bar pour’s kind of head that dissipated immediately.
The smell started off with a sliding sweet arrangement of sweet milk chocolate, nuts and coffee.
The taste was mainly sweet through the chocolate. The nuts amplify the sweetness but also lead into a semi-grainy to dry bitter coffee bean. There’s a nice light sweet aftertaste leading into a sweet nutty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light and feels fairly smooth and creamy on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good English Brown ale that I would have again.
