12 ounce bottle thanks to cheapdark...OK just cheap. Pours a cloudy copper color, almost orange, with a small white head. A light nose of yeast, toffee and caramel. Big sweet flavor with more caramel, dusty yeast, bread, some banana esters. Quite nice. I love me some Straub.

From a bottle, quite strong and sweetly rude. Certainly has more personality than I was expecting for this bewer. Definitely the most over the top beer I’ve had from straub. If you are a fan of the well mannered easy going regular straub, better not try this. Cloying at times. Straus has gained the ability to be insulting as any other micro brewer. What’s next? Straub double IPA, wew. I think to myself, "not impressed" as I reach for a bottle of real straub.
