Can pour from Beer and Wine Nation. It's an opaque black with no sparkle, light viscosity, finger-plus width beige foamy head, with decent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roast over earthy malt and mild chocolate. Taste is strong roasted malt (bordering on char) with baker's chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, lively carbonation (slightly stinging the tongue) and finish as taste. Overall, more roasty than advertised and creaminess starts to make an appearance but is overwhelmed by carbonation. Promising if reworked slightly.

Bottle from the Packie Dark brown/black in color with a creamy off white head that persists. Earthy roasty light chocolate with a light creamed coffee flavor and aroma. Nice drinker.
