Can from the Source Dark brown with hints of garnet and respectable clarity with a decent sized frothy off white head that slowly recedes. Ashy chocolate and hints of roast and caramel with some light fruit and earth to counter.

Taster pour at the source. Appearance is clear, dark brown/ruby with no sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is strong roasted malts, earthy, bitter. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry, mostly bitter finish. Overall, not bad but pretty one dimensional.

Taster at the source reddish brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of roasted malt light hops. Taste is good slightly thin mouthfeel balanced bitterness in the finish.
