75 cl. bottle.from føtex, vesterbrogade. cloudy brown, small bubbly very light brown head. Very spicy aroma, like a danish christmas beer, other than spices i get belgian yeast and faint dark dried fruit. flavor is belgian yeast, caramel, danish spices, some bitter notes similar to bitter tea or wood, kinda strange, not sure i would put this in abbey dubbel, but it is sort of belgain’ish, and reasonably tasty. tastes like if the alc. pct. was higher than it is - but not in a bad way.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy, reddish brown with a lively if dissipating beige head. Rather strange aroma: oxidized and somewhat metallic atop some dark, dried fruits. Medium body, initially sweetness as in dates and figs, but then some very unclean notes come creeping in, metallic again but more seriously an odd almost infected tartness. This is really poor craftmanship. 261114

Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma has caramel, some fruityness and a yeasty touch. Dried fruit hints. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, with a rather low level of carbonation. Caramel, dried fruits, some generic fruityness and a touch of yeast and brown sugar. Long, sweet and fruity finish. Unbalanced and not very well composed this one. Drinkable. 141025
