Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 3.5
Tap at the source. Slight sweet malty aroma with a little bit of hop perfume on the nose. Color is brownish maroon and cloudy. Initially you know this IPA by its dreaded attack on the tastebuds. Yes, a tad of astringent uncivilly is in the mix as well. Big hop bite on top of a malty red ale, quite unique. If you like IPA, ignore my numbers, its terribly on style.
