Dark red with a trace head. Biting and sharp with tannin and blueberry. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Bottle at Helicon. Nice dark clear purplish eye. Smell is fruit and honey, gentle nose. Appetizing. Intitall its flat like wine. A little thinner than expected. Good flavor. Smooth, not boozy. Friendly till the end but it does provide an unintentional alky kick to the noggin. Nice local domestic mead. Drinks like fruit wine.
