Paying homage to our local sportfishing boats as well as those who travel from afar making Ocean City, MD a prime fishing location on the Atlantic coast. We named this brew Poor Man’s IPA. The Poor Man’s Canyon is a hot spot for deep sea fishing off the coast of Ocean City Maryland. The fishing spot is easily accessible for big sportfishing boats looking to catch pelagic species like marlin, mahi and tuna. It is a popular spot for contestants in the annual White Marlin Open tournament.

Draft at brewery. Hazy orange gold color. Thin, creamy white head. Aroma is citrus fruit and bteady malt. Flavor has tropical fruit notes. Some mild bitterness. Sticky mouthfeel. Tasty.

Hey, this was on tap at the end of the pier at Sneaky Pete’s. This my friend is not an IPA, its a slightly hopped APA. Cloudy pale. A very slight hop nose. Taste is not IPA at all, just barely an APA. Does have a medium long bitter finish tho. Yes, if this is an IPA, I hate IPA, and this is JMHO a pretty good IPA, heheheh.

Good balance and easy to drink. Orange with some pine. Tangy bitter finish. Bottle at party.
