Draft at mindful. Brownish yellow & clear. A little bitter bite apparent on the commencement. Yes, almost astringent, so common these days with new brewers. Almost becomes a little difficult in the middle but never quite gets there. Decent amber.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was wood, bread, golden fruit and was a bit off. The flavor was woody with bread crust, golden fruit and was fairly astringent. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.
