Tap hollywood. Big & black. A little charcoal in the nose. Impy stout yes but some of that charcoal carries over to the taste as weel, more burnt coal than most impy stouts. Bitter notes follow. Mouth coating and pretty much on style otherwise. If you like impy stouts, ignore my numbers.

Sampled from a growler this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that faded fairly quickly and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet chocolate syrup, almost bourbon, wood and vanilla cream. The flavor was sweet, toasty and roasty with chocolate syrup, vanilla cream and a touch of wood. Long finish. Thick, creamy and silky body that would not leave the tongue. Outstanding.
