Tap, bocktown, nice place. THis pours big and black. Smells like nice friendly dark brew, no hint of coffee on the nose. Taste is rather mild & flat cold coffee. Brew is better than expected. Lacks any of that over the top coffee thang so common in today’s coffee beers.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was dry and roasty with notes of coffee and vanilla. The flavor was brewed coffee, a bit of toasty and roasty malts, wood and a hint of sour caramel. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.
