Not a fan of spiced holiday brews so take my numbers with a grain of salt. Darker brown. Slight creamy head. Small amount of holiday spices in the nose. Taste is sweet & boozy fer sure, does not hide the volatile alky well. Difficult medicine as with most any of these kinds of brews. Almost comes across like a barley wine at times. Yes, there is some anise, orange and cinny in there and it is very apparent. I must mention tho, the spices are not quite in yer face like so many other brands of this style and I can appreciate that. Probably a little better than the average Christmas brew.
