Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy with fruity hops and a metallic note. The flavor was bitter and tangy with vague fruity hops, a metallic note and light herbal hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Better than I expected.

Bottle marketplace. Rare beer. A little more orange than a pale lager. Big dull IPA impact on the nose. Look, let me tell you I hate IPA so reverse my numbers if you like it. First taste? A terribly bitter hop jaw smash nastily on style, bordering on double IPA territory. Yes, alky in yer face with the tongue twisting overly bitter pine tar & green grapefruit rinds, everything these hops are s’posed to be into. Quite a personality. You get your money’s worth of eye opening gullet filling excitement with this brew, especially if you are a lager lover, WHEWW. If you like IPA, and come across this, take it in for a one time beer tasting experience. Macro IPA, right out of old latrobe’s glass lined tanks. Thank you melanie.
